Kids Sports

Last weekend, Hayden had his first soccer game.  It was so much fun to watch.  Little kids are hilarious!  I don't have very many pictures as I was video taping it.  The video is great.
Once I get it uploaded off the camcorder I will post it.
Looking good!
Hayden is #8

Doing a little warm up before the game.

Watching the game.
She lasted about 20 minutes and then she was ready to go.
Playing the defender position.

Hi-Ya! Karate.

Last week Phedora started a karate class.
Even though she looks less than amused in this picture she had a great time and couldn't wait to go back this week.
Her kicks are too cute.  We will have to work on bending her knee.  She definitely has ballet legs.

Picture Day!

Such a pretty girl.

Phedora's First Day of Kindergarten!!

Yesterday was Miss Phedora's first day of Kindergarten!  It is amazing that our baby is off to the big world of school already.  It feels like we were just bringing her home from the hospital.  My how the time flies by us without us even realizing it!  She was up and ready to go shoes on even, by 8:05.  Her questions of the morning were... is it time to go to school and when will I go to school?
While waiting to take Hayden to school she decided that the tupperware cabinet needed some cleaning up.  It is now messier than before she got to it.
All dressed up and ready for school.
I'm leaving now.
Her backpack.
Kisses from Daddy.
Daddy and his girls.
Kisses from Isis.
It looks like she is pondering something.
Headed to the bus stop.
As a kindergartner, Phedora gets to take the bus to school.
Yeah!  I only have to make 2 trips to the school now.
This is very exciting for me as I thought I would be making 3 trips per day.
Kyler was on his way to the bus stop too so it was picture time for the parents.
Neither one of them seems to want to take a picture with the other.
This was as close to Phedora as Kyler would get.
Funny how something like school changes the kids so much.
Waiting for the bus.
This was as close to Kyler and Niko as she was going to get.
They were all a little embarrassed yesterday.
Today though they were all back to normal playing at the bus stop like old times.
I'm so excited!  Is the bus here yet?
Getting on the bus.
Our baby is such a big girl.
Time for the tears.
Getting off the bus at school.
We were all a little concerned when the bus didn't show up.
The bus is supposed to get to the school at about 12:35, it was 1:05 by the time it showed up.

Phedora said the bus ride was "bumpy"
She was the first one off the bus so she got to be the line leader.
Walking over to the area that the kindergarten's line up at to go to class.
The principle had to walk them over since the rest of her class had already gone in.
Waiting to see where to go and what to do.
She is too darn cute!
Waiting to go to class.
There she goes.  Off to Kindergarten.
I handled Phedora a lot better than I thought I would.
I think it was because I didn't go into her classroom like we did with Hayden.

Phedora said that she had a great day at school.  She was very tired last night though and put herself to bed as soon as we got home from the boy scout meeting.  This morning she was up and ready for another day at school.  She told me that she would rather be in the morning class so she doesn't have to wait to go to school.  Today she was being a little shy though.  Niko's dad called to invite her over for lunch and she said No.  Then decided a few minutes later that she wanted to go.  We ended up heading to the bus stop about 10 minutes early.  Kyler was already there and Niko came out as soon as we got to the end of the street.  All three of them were too excited to go to school and wanted to go wait at the bus stop.  I cant wait to see how her day goes today.
