We made it back to Wa

After a long 2 days of driving we made it home. We got here at about 2:30 Sunday afternoon. The house is great. We are in the process of cleaning right now. The previous tenants didn't clean very good at all. The carpets are getting cleaned as well and while they didn't look too bad they were filthy! Glad we decided to clean them.

The movers were supposed to be here Thursday or Friday so we spent an extra day in Ca. We took the kids to Disneyland and had a good time playing at Grandma Bev's house. We left on Saturday morning and made it up to Yreka. It was a long day! We spent about 11 hours in the car. On the way up the mover called and said he would be here on Tuesday with our stuff. Then about an hour later he called back to say actually I'll be there Monday at 9. While it is nice to have our stuff we didn't get a chance to clean at all. So now we are fighting boxes and furniture trying to get it cleaned up so we can start unpacking. Hopefully we will start that tonight or tomorrow.

Well back to cleaning the carpets. Just wanted to give a little update.

Almost Done!

I thought I should take some pictures of our "mountain" We have way too much stuff! I am almost done with the packing! Yeah! I have another box of toys from outside, clothes, bedding, the computer and TV's left to do. Dan's going to do the TV's though so that doesn't really count. It feels good to be so close to being done. My goal is to have it ready to go before Dan gets home tonight. Then I can just work on cleaning up tomorrow. The mover's will be here Monday morning between 8:30 and 9:30.

Slow but Steady

Wins the race. Right??? I hope so. I am making progress with the packing and the cleaning. I have been trying to get a few boxes packed each day. I also try to tackle a cleaning project or two. Today I washed all the outside windows. They were filthy! I don't think they have been cleaned since we moved in with the exception of the sliding glass door. We still have toys strewn about the house and little odds and ends to get into boxes. I have packed most everything else though. So that feels good.

I cant believe that we will be leaving in a week! I'm excited but at the same time I am very sad. I love Arizona and I would live here permanently if I could. I love the sun and I hate the cold. I do love the beauty of Wa though. If only it could be beautiful and nice and sunny, the warm sun not the cold sun. I don't need 100 degrees or even 90. I would be happy with a constant 70-80. Kinda like its been here for the past 7 or so months.

They say its better to have loved and lost than to not have loved at all. A piece of my heart will stay behind here in Arizona with the wonderful friends we have made here. You ladies will be missed, thank you all for the great times. I'm so glad to have met you all, you all made our time here our best move out of state ever.

Guano Point

Grand Canyon West

Hualapi Ranch

Hayden's favorite horse. He really wanted to ride but you had to 7.

Getting ready to be hung

The Sheriff and the Deputy

They threw me in jail!

Phedora was giving me some tea though :)

Haha, the tables are turned. The Sheriff is now in there.

The beautiful view from our room.

Breathtaking isn't it?

Phedora wasn't to sure about the ponies.

This type of pony is a "Diamond breed"

Taking a break for a little snack.

Smiles!

Taking a wagon ride out through the landscape.

She's finally smiling!

They told us this was a dinosaur footprint.

Not so sure I believe that though. But who really knows.
Playing
Hayden's back in jail again :)
Hanging out enjoying the view while Phedora took a nap.
His tumbleweed he found.

He wanted to bring it home with us.
Holding a real cowboy's gun.

The lead up to his first time shooting a gun.

Unfortunately the camera didn't have enough juice to record the shot too.
Taking his first shot!
His bullet casing. He was showing it to anyone and everyone.
