Sickies Again

Poor Phedora is sick again. Last night she started complaining of a sore throat and that her eyes hurt. By about 8 she had a low grade fever and was just feeling puny. This morning she woke up with a fever of 102 so we went in to see the Dr this morning. They did a rapid strep test and that came back negative. It makes me happy on the one hand but on the other I wish that was what she had so she could atleast get some medicine to help her feel better. Her appetite is coming back though so that is good. Both the kids are sad that we have to re-schedule Hayden's birthday party. Hopefully the rest of us wont get it and Phedora will be feeling fine soon! She has been laying in our bed watching cartoons most of the day. Off to put on Dora save the Snow Princess for her :)

Going back to school

On Wednesday, my early registration appointment finally rolled around. By that time though the Chemistry class I wanted to take was full. I ended up getting into Cultural Anthropology though. I am super excited to finally be getting back to school! My classes will start on Jan 5th! I can't wait!!

Halloween 2009

Sugar Pop Garden

Tomorrow we are going over to my parents' for a Halloween Party. Tonight the kids and I made a sugar cookie garden. I just hope that they make it through the night and all the way over there tomorrow without falling down! They are not in there very securely.

Pajama Day

Today at preschool they had pajama day. Phedora was so excited to wear her new pajama's and bring snack and sharing. This month's sharing theme is all things fall related. They pick on thing, put it in a paper bag and then the other kids have to try and guess whats in the bag based on clues. Today Phedora took a mini pumpkin for sharing. Since it was a pajama party at school we were asked to bring Phedora's favorite cereal for snack today. So they all got to have a bowl of fruity cheerios this afternoon. I thought for sure she would have wanted to take the multi grain cheerios since that is what she eats almost daily but I guess not. Phedora also took Lady and her blanket to school today. Apparently, they pretended to take a nap and then her teacher Mrs. Thach drove them all back to school afterwards. Phedora said that she had a great time at school today.

She even got to wear her slippers to school today. Thank goodness it wasn't raining today :)

October 2009

Way back the week off Oct 5-9th Hayden got his first Excellent progress report from school. He has gotten excellent's every week since then.

Dan and I went last week and had our first parent teacher conference with Hayden's teacher. She said that he is very smart and excelling at everything. Hayden is already able to do a lot of things that they don't expect them to do until the end of Kindergarten. We are so proud of Hayden!
Last Tuesday, Phedora and I went to Craven farm with her preschool.
