The Motherload

So I always say I need to be better about updating the blog and then somewhere along the way life gets the best of me.  We have been super busy over the last 2 months, as you will shortly see.  But really between school and all the activities, getting pictures on the blog seems nearly impossible.  To be quite honest just getting them on the computer is half the battle, I uploaded well over 300 pictures 2 weeks ago!!!

Of course, I feel this blog will never be complete, as there are still more pictures on the camera...I will try and get those uploaded tomorrow and add them to the end of this post.

Go ahead and enjoy all that I have here.  There is always more to add...as we always seem to be on the go these days.

Bobcat Badge Ceremony

Hayden had no idea what to expect when he received his Bob Cat Badge.

To be honest neither did we.  It was so much fun!  The video at the end is priceless.

 He does not like face paint or any other paint/ink on his body.

 Each one of these marking has a symbolic meaning.

Unfortunately I can't remember what they are :(

Dan's dad came over to hand out candy for us so both Dan and I could take the kids out.  We headed out and just did the neighborhood and around the block.  The kids had a great time out trick or treating.  Hayden was telling everyone that his costume was free since he already had it.  He wasn't making the connection that we paid good money for his "costume" no matter how many times we told him. 

Both the kids had tons of fun.

Skate Night

The kids' school had a skate night, put on by the PTA,so we thought we would go and see how it went.  The kids had never been skating and its been quite some time for Dan and I too.  I was a bit wobbly all night but I never did fall.  So that was good.

Hayden is a little unsure of these roller skates.

It could have gone better but he was having fun.

Phedora did surprisingly well staying up.

Or maybe I was just quick to steady her and keep her up.

Hanging onto the wall is very helpful.

Also I must say this is an awesome outfit.

Phedora has an interesting sense of fashion.

What can I say?  I am sucker for even a single strand of lights.  I love love love lights!

I am so thankful for our family and the friends we have made.  Without them our lives would be lonely and incomplete.  A big THANK YOU to you all.  We love you all very much and are so proud and happy to call you our family and friends!
