Hayden Lost His...

First Tooth! Tonight while Hayden was brushing his teeth his first loose tooth fell out. I am shocked at how quickly he lost it since he just realized it was loose on Monday. I seem to remember my own being much more stubborn! He is very proud and says he his officially a "BIG BOY"

He has decided to wait until Daddy get's home to have the tooth fairy come. He wants Daddy to see his first tooth.

Dan's Fish

Last Sunday, Dan and his Dad went out to Westport fishing on Blue Eyes. Apparently blue Eye's Captain knew where to find the fish! Within an hour or so the boat had its maximum allowance of 31 fish. These are the two that Dan caught and got to keep.

Dentist Checkup

This morning the kids and I went in to get our teeth cleaned and x-rayed. Hayden showed us his first loose tooth last night and today at the dentist we got to see 2 of his permanent teeth pushing up. His two middle teeth on the bottom are on their way up! Phedora also has the two middle teeth on the bottom moving up and one of them is loose as well. She is also getting her 6 year molars in right now! She is only 4 1/2! I was shocked when they told me and then showed me from the x-rays as well. Both of the kids did really good and waited patiently while I got my teeth cleaned as well. As a reward we are going to go get a betta tomorrow, which they have decided to name Sunday, after our old betta that passed away while we were on a trip to Ca a few years ago.

Hayden Rides A Two Wheeler!

Hayden was over playing with the neighbor kids and took it upon himself to learn how to ride a two wheeler yesterday! Our neighbor's sister watches a little boy that is Hayden's age who rides a two wheeler. So while we were out there yesterday he got on Sage's bike and started riding! When Dan got home last night he took off the training wheels on Hayden's bike and he was off! Dan and I are so thankful that he ended up not having to go to Oregon yesterday so he could be home to see it. Hayden's bike is a little bigger than Sage's so it took him a little bit to adjust to his own bike but before he knew he was off riding like a pro!

The training wheels are off lets see how it goes....

Learning how to get going on his own.

Now he has it! Look at him go!

He's so proud of himself!

Beach Day

This afternoon we headed out to the beach with my friend Casey and her son Howie. It was a dog friendly beach were Isis was able to run around and have a good time. We all had fun playing in the water, digging holes in the sand which turned into digging for clams, and meeting the other kids and dogs at the beach. I took my camera but between the kids and Isis I never managed to get it out. We are going to start making our beach trip a weekly thing while the weather is still so nice. It was a great beach with sand and rocks but not a lot of people. Its a bit of a walk down but well worth it. I just hope that a bunch of people dont find out about it. There was a the perfect amount of people there today!

Baby Cael has arrived!

Olivia and John welcomed Cael Victor into our families on Saturday night July 18th at about 9:45 pm. He is one of the cutest little bundles of joy I have ever seen. He weighed 7 lbs 14 oz and was 22" long. Olivia and John allowed me the honor of helping them bring another nephew into my life. I absolutely love helping to bring babies into the world. I cant wait to go spend more time with Olivia and baby Cael.

This was right before he found his thumb.

Concerts in the Park

Each Thursday the city of Everett puts on a kids concert at Silverlake Park. We have gone to two of them andenjoyed them thouroughly. I have pics from the first one which featured Recess Monkey. The second one was Tim Noah who I would love to see again. Unfortunately the battery in the camera was dead. We were going to go yesterday but I was feeling under the weather so we had to pass. We will be back out there next week though!

Don't look at me while I am dancing!

Wishing it was sunnier out

Phedora was feeling a little under the weather but we thought some fresh air might do her some good.
