Fun in the Sun!!

We got some nice weather for a few days in May, Phedora took advantage and put on her swimsuit along with a few accessories.  She is so stinkin cute!

The sun stuck around for a few days.

Its really an eye sore! 

The old owners used this corner as a catch all for tree trimmings, weeds, garbage, rocks etc.

I put a good dent in it that first day.

I filled the yard waste bin, as full as it would go and I put it all in so that I would maximize the space.  It was a lot of work but well worth it.  I don't have a picture of the finished product but I finished off that pile plus some.  There is still rocks and some old boards over there.  But those will have to wait until we get a truck to take it all to the dump.

Our first bike ride down Centennial Trail.

There is a great paved trail that runs from Snohomish up to Arlington I believe.  Its great for biking, walking, jogging and horses.  We didn't see any horses but we saw lots of people walking their dogs and riding bikes on this beautiful sunny afternoon in May.

We rode up to the Machias Station and there was a little playground for the kids to play on.

Our ride ended up being about 8 miles round trip.  It was a lot of fun and the kids had a great time.
