Happy to report...

I have been working out now for just about 2 months. It has been very discouraging at times. In the beginning I was measuring myself every week or two and was seeing very little loss if any. Then I quit measuring myself all together. While I would step on the scale here and there I never paid much attention to it. Seeing how muscle weighs more than fat and your weight fluctuates from day to day anyway. Well this morning I decided to break out the take measure and step onto the scale. It was a little daunting I don't feel or look in my opinion any skinnier. But contrary to my beliefs the scale is down 4 lbs! The tape measure gives me a overall loss of 8"! I am pretty happy to say the least and am excited to keep on losing it. I have almost made my first goal of losing 10" and I am looking forward to the reward of a pedicure. Perfect timing too since fall is almost here. Though you would never know by looking outside.

Today is supposed to be a scorcher reaching 109 degrees! As I sit here typing this I look around and see a messy kitchen, two kids who are anxiously awaiting their surprise for the day. A trip up to the park. As I scan my eyes are met with the thermometer that says its already around 95 degrees out. UGH! I guess we will put the kitchen on hold wrap this up and get up to the park before it gets much hotter out there.

Have a fabulous Saturday everyone!

Congrats...I wish I could get up the courage to start working out like that! You are doing great! I have been taking a peak now and then on your other site for it and have been proud of you! Keep up the good work! I can't wait to see how you are looking!

Tony doesn't have the assist as much because lot of guys at his work have been complaining how he is the only one who gets to drive it. So now he has to rotate with others which is a big bummer. So far not many have taken it from him but I fear it will happen more and more. He has it this week though which is good. The others arn't taking as good of car with the car and answering the phone like they are suppose to so we will see how long this really lasts.

Jars of Clay is a great Christian group!
