The end is in sight

I have been working the last few days on getting Hayden's train costume put together. I can happily say that it is coming together and I can actually see the end in sight. When I first decided to make his costume I thought, it cant be that hard, it looks pretty easy. Wow, was I ever wrong. It is definitely getting the better of me. Trying to figure out how to make certain things happen is beyond me at times but so far I am getting there. I have a few more pieces to make and then its just a matter of painting the remaining pieces and attaching them to the train. I am determined to have it finished by tomorrow night. Not like I have a choice in the matter since we have to use it Friday morning! I think the last major obstacle I have to overcome is how to actually attach it to Hayden. I think I will get a pair of suspenders and attach them to the train some how. If you have any ideas please please please pass them on! I will post some pics of what I have in a little bit. As its almost time for preschool now.

Hi Cassia! You don't know me-but I'm friends with Renate. I was just reading your dilema about how to attach the costume to Hayden. Try either the suspenders (depending on how heavy the costume is it might/might not hold) or you could try rope/ribbon. Poke holes in the box big enough to get the rope through small enough that when you tie a knot underneath the rope won't slip through. Just a thought! Good luck!
