Our Kids' Choice Day

Yesterday, I decided that we would do what ever the kids wanted to do. With the exception of going and seeing Jenna and Baby Lily. Which they were very excited to do so it worked out great. We got up and did a little housework and I worked out then it was all them the rest of the day. First we played a little Guitar Hero. Phedora was walking around singing Hit me with your best shot. It was pretty cute. Then we got dressed and headed over to see Jenna and Baby Lily. She is just adorable. It makes me want to have another baby. I told Dan last night and he told me no way!
Hayden only wanted to hold her for a minute.
Apparently I took too long to get the camera cause he was pretty much done.
Our little Mommy in the making. Phedora is all girl now!
She loves babies, make up, dress up and talks constantly about
Getting Married!

After Jenna's we came home had some lunch and took a dip in the pool. Then the kids decided they wanted to go to the aquarium. So we came in and searched for an aquarium. It turns out that they don't have any down here that I could find. But for some reason this really cool park camera up one of my searches. There's nothing to do with aquariums or fish at the park but it looked cool. Its called Playtopia at Tumbleweed Park. So we thought we'd go check it off. I sent the kids to go get dressed and sneaked out to the garage to put their bikes in the trunk. I had read that the park was great for bikes.
By the time we got there I had forgot I brought the bikes. But then I saw some kids riding and it sparked my memory. Which actually worked out nicely cause then I was able to build the kids up a little while I opened the trunk. They were very happy to see their bikes and happily took off riding.
The park is set up in three sections. The main play area is covered and is huge. Its the Farmland area. Complete with a big tractor to play on. Not a real tractor but a its hard to describe. I'll take a pic next time we are there. Then there is the City, which has a firetruck school bus and a little school house. There's also a little play structure with a slide and what not. The third area is a sand box. Theres a big Gila Monster for the kids to climb on and then you can dig up the bones in the sand box. Theres also a bunch of swings and some big rock to climb on. All in all a pretty cool park. The kids told me they wanted to go back in the morning on our way home so we will be going back this morning and having a picnic. Hopefully its not terribly hot today.
Yes, I did get a few pictures while we were there. However, I had the small memory card so I was only able to take about 5 pictures at a time. But Dan brought home the big card last night and I can get back to business of taking a ton of pictures. YEAH, I am excited and you should be too.
Enjoy the few I got for now and I will post more from today later.
In the City area the sidewalk is painted as a road.
Hayden had fun pretending to be a Police Officer.

For some reason Phedora didn't want to have her picture taken.
So unlike her. Usually she wants to be in every picture.
Hopefully today she will be less camera shy.
This is the slide in the City area. The first time she came down
she flew right off onto her bottom. She looked around, stood up,
brushed off her bottom and yelled THAT WAS FUN! This was take two.
she didn't fly off this time.
Hayden was trying to get a drink but the water is way too high.
Phedora came over next and got a drink. She looked like she was trying to
drink from a hose and she ended up all wet down the front of her.
I bet it felt good though it was pretty hot out.
